FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Key Club?

"Key Club International is a student-led organization that provides members with opportunities to do community service, build character, and develop leadership."

Key Club is much more bigger than one would think. For example, did you know Key Club is global with more than 38 countries? It's all in an upside down triangle where our members make up the biggest Key Club population. Then it goes into club officers, division and district leaders, and international trustees. For Sierra Vista Key Club, we are in Region 5 of the California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) district. We are part of the largest district in Key Club international. Our division resides in Division 28 South (D28S).

High schools, including ours, are partnered with local Kiwanis from the Southwest Kiwanis Club to be able to track how key clubs are doing all around the world.

For more information about Key Club, check out the official California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) district website.

The Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) was established by the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundations. It helps children 14 and under who are injured by unintentional injuries because Pediatric Trauma is one of the top leading causes for death within minors. An example of an unintentional injury is a child falling off their bike.

For more information about PTP, check out this page from the CNH Foundation website.

The Yes! Initiative promotes support for the Cal-Nev-Ha Children's fund. Donations towards this fund not only contribute to student leaders who may need financial support, but it provides scholarships for Circle K, Key Club, and KIWIN's members that want to pursue a higher education. It will provide grants for Kiwanis' clubs that will be used to make a difference in lives and communities.

For more information about the Yes! Initiative, check out this page from the CNH Foundation website.

THE ABOVE CHARITIES ARE CNH'S TOP PRIORITY AS THERE IS A FUND GOAL THE DISTRICT WANT TO ACHIEVE! Think about donating!
